Steel Erection & Fabricated Project Installs

At SCW we pride ourselves in our ability to safely and efficiently erect steel and install fabricated products. We have experience with installing structural steel, pre-engineered buildings, and decking. We specialize in handrails, railings, staircases, and galvanized lanais.

Fabrication Services

With our 30,000 sq. ft. high bay shop, we have the equipment, space, and knowledge to fabricate a wide variety of steel, aluminum, and stainless steel projects. All of our welders are AWS certified and have the knowledge to safely and efficiently tackle any project. You dream it we fab it!

Pipeline Welding & Portable Welding

Is your project something that has to be welded onsite? We have portable rigs that can do it all. We can weld stainless, aluminum, and mild steel on the road. We also have experienced certified pipeline welders that are ready for any project.

Our
Story

S Custom Welds (SCW) was formed in 2010 by Matt Stapleford and has been family owned ever since. SCW began in a modest garage in Jeddo, MI and has evolved to become the Blue Water and surrounding area's answer for welding, fabrication, and steel erection. Our firm view is that our success is totally reliant on placing our customers' and employees' satisfaction at the top of our priority list.
